If you believe that all Australians with disability have the right to be treated equitably, please sign our e-petition.

Right now, many people with disability who are excluded from the NDIS do not have access to the assistive technology they need. This limits their independence and participation in community life. It can also compromise their safety, health and wellbeing.

We want all Australians with disability to have access to the assistive technology they need when they need it. We need a safety net to stop people with disability from falling through the cracks and we need it now! This is why we are asking you to work together to establish a national assistive technology program to meet the needs of people with disability who are excluded from the NDIS.

We believe all Australians with disability have the right to be treated equitably – and that means equal access to assistive technology. Right now, many people with disability who are excluded from the NDIS do not have access to the assistive technology they need. This affects not only their independence and community participation but also their safety, health and wellbeing.

The Department of Social Services is currently in the process of finalising a new National Disability Strategy for 2020-2030. We want to see a fair and equal national aids, equipment and assistive technology program included in this new Strategy. Join us, and Australians around the country, by calling on your local representative to support this request, and give all Australians with disability equal access to assistive technology.
